May is a busy time of year full of celebrations! We want to take the time out to say THANK YOU to our Mother's! You bring your babies to therapy and doctor's appointments, you take the time out of your busy schedule to work with your kids each day, and you love unending! Without you, we could not do it!
We are coming up on a very busy time of the year for the clinic! Make sure you are following us on Facebook to see all that we have going on.
Mondays can be so overwhelming. Coming in from a busy weekend trying to figure out what to do and where to start. There are just so many things that need to be done. This Monday, I became so overwhelmed ........ and then God showed up and I was overwhelmed with the goodness and graciousness of God! You see He has ALWAYS provided and sends just what I need when I need it! Monday, one of my moms came in and said I have some baskets for your auction. I knew she was working on some things, but when I finished therapy with her son, I returned to my office and saw all that she had brought. I stood there in tears and utter amazement! With just her help, we have more items this year than last year ( and better items)! I am so thankful for her and her community that so graciously helped her. But prior to this, I was stressed and overwhelmed, wandering how to get it done. Then God used her to provide! It is so easy to take our eyes off Christ in the busyness, but what we need to be doing is giving it to Him because He already has it figured out.
So this month, I am going to ask for very specific prayers, if you would join me in praying for these needs.
1) Pray for the family camp will be fully funded. Also, please begin praying for each and every family that will be attending, for hearts to be open, and for the love of God to be shared with them.
2) Pray for growth! Please pray that God will send a speech therapist, occupational therapist, and another physical therapist our way to further meet the needs of our sweet kiddos.

Meet the Crazies
Beth asked me to write in this month’s newsletter for a “meet the family” section; my immediate thought was, “you mean meet the crazies?” Hence, the title of this month’s article. Hi guys, my name is Margo. I am a mother of 5 (currently, but that number is always subject to change!). I have had two of my adoptive children require multiple services including physical therapy which we of course saw Beth for.
Unfortunately, I have seen children who desperately need therapies but don’t have a caregiver who is willing to go the extra mile for the best of the child. Emmi’s biological mother didn’t get proper pre-natal care and also didn’t seek proper much needed therapies. My adoptive daughter, Laila, suffered much of the same traumas. It can be frustrating learning histories of children who were not provided every opportunity to learn and grow.
So to you mothers, I say: THANK YOU AND YOURE DOING AWESOME. Just when we want to feel sorry for our children for the obstacles that they have to overcome- remember that YOU are providing the potential for growth. Anyone who helps a child reach milestones is a blessing. I pray that each of you know, God makes no mistake when He selected you as your child’s mother. I am certain that all of my children whether adopted or biological were brought into our home by God’s hand.
